Metal detectable nitrile rubber gaskets are expertly precision-cut from a synthetic elastomer enhanced with additives that enable detection by most metal scanning devices. This material delivers excellent abrasion and tear resistance, making it suitable for both dry and wet food applications in compliance with Regulation EC 1935:2004. These gaskets retain the essential qualities of standard nitrile rubber while offering improved mechanical performance.

Designed mainly for use in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors, these gaskets help minimise contamination risks. Their distinctive blue colour meets industry visibility standards, and the material exhibits strong resistance to animal fats, fish oils, greases, and vegetable oils. Additionally, blue metal-detectable nitrile gaskets operate effectively over a wider temperature range compared to conventional nitrile variants.

With our in-house CNC cutting capabilities, AMG Sealing can produce gaskets to exact specifications, accommodating both single and bulk orders. We manufacture soft cut gaskets including dovetail, picture frame, and standard flange gaskets, and can work from bespoke dimensional drawings as needed.
