Metal Detectable Silicone Rubber Cord

Metal detectable silicone rubber cord is a premium food-grade synthetic elastomer, prized for its flexibility and excellent compression set retention over a broad temperature range. This material offers superior electrical insulation, a smooth non-stick finish, and robust resistance to UV light and oxidation. Tailored for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, it contains metal-detectable additives to support contamination control through metal detection systems. The product complies with FDA 177.2600, EC 1935/2004, and WRAS standards.

This cord is ideal for sealing applications where specific o-ring sizes are unavailable, as it can be formed into o-rings by joining. For applications where metal detectability is not required, we also supply a variety of standard silicone cords in multiple colours.
