Neoprene Sponge Cord

Neoprene Sponge Cord

Neoprene sponge cord is made from high-grade closed-cell sponge rubber, delivering outstanding flexibility and compressibility. This expanded rubber cord is well-suited for sealing applications where resistance to water, ozone, and weathering is essential, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Capable of performing reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to +90°C, its closed-cell construction effectively prevents the passage of gases, liquids, and air. Available in coils or cut lengths, it can also be formed into O-rings for specific sealing needs.

We stock neoprene sponge cord in a range of diameters. For sizes not shown here, please contact us with your requirements including product code and quantity.

Typical Uses

Commonly employed in marine, construction, and general engineering sectors, it also offers a practical alternative to foam backer rods.
