GYLON® Off-white Style 3510 is a high-grade PTFE gasket material enhanced with barium sulfate filler, offering improved performance over conventional PTFE. This material minimises product loss and emissions while effectively combating cold flow issues typical of expanded PTFE. It ensures excellent bolt torque retention and maintains robust chemical resistance across a wide range of substances. Fully compliant with FDA standards, GYLON® Off-white Style 3510 is available precision-cut to your requirements.
Suitable for a broad spectrum of media including strong caustics, moderate acids, chlorine, gases, water, steam, hydrocarbons, and cryogenic fluids. It is especially effective for high concentration caustic environments, such as those found in the pulp and paper industry.
