Reticulated air filter foam made from polyester features an open-cell structure, making it highly effective for filtration and ventilation purposes. This foam resists swelling when exposed to water, fuels, detergents, mineral oils, and greases. However, it may swell if in contact with many organic solvents such as benzene, ethanol, and chloroform.
Offered in a variety of PPI (pores per linear inch) grades, higher PPI foams provide greater airflow resistance, while lower PPI grades facilitate easier air movement. Our standard foam grades are flame-retardant and maintain performance under elevated temperature conditions.
