PTFE coated glass fabric heat sealing tape, sometimes
mistakenly called Teflon™ tape, is manufactured by combining
high-performance PTFE coating with durable woven glass cloth. This creates
a versatile material with outstanding heat resistance, chemical
protection, and superior non-stick performance. Designed for demanding
industrial environments, PTFE glass cloth tape is widely used in heat
sealing and packaging applications where reliability and durability are
essential.
Available in both plain and self-adhesive formats, PTFE coated glass cloth
can also be supplied with anti-static properties when required. In
addition to rolls and sheets, the material can be converted into
precision-cut strips, tapes, and custom gaskets tailored to your exact
specifications.
Applications
PTFE coated glass cloth is ideal for a wide range of industrial and
manufacturing uses, including, heat sealing bars and sealing wires, heat
platens and heat curtains, hot plate welding release fabric, shrink
wrapping and packaging machinery, blister pack and vacuum pack
equipment, mould release surfaces, chute and hopper linings, non-stick
baking tray liners, sewn insulation sleeves and flexible connectors and
expansion joints.
