Expanded PTFE sealing tape is made from unsintered PTFE, offering outstanding chemical resistance except against alkali metals. It performs reliably under high pressure and elevated temperatures. Odourless and tasteless, this tape is well-suited for food industry use and is WRAS approved for potable water applications. AMG Sealing also supplies expanded PTFE sheet.
This sealing tape serves as an effective alternative to full gaskets by wrapping it around the flange sealing surface before flange assembly. Its pliable and soft characteristics ensure a secure seal even on uneven or damaged flange faces.
Equipped with a self-adhesive backing to simplify installation.
