Cork sheeting is a composite material made by combining cork granules with rubber binders, resulting in a product that surpasses the performance of traditional unbonded cork. This fusion improves flexibility, durability, and resistance to oils and fuels, making it an excellent choice for diverse sealing tasks. Its versatility allows for precise cutting into custom shapes, commonly utilised in automotive and moderate pressure sealing applications.
SBR/Nitrile bonded cork sheeting is a key product in our portfolio, made from cork granules bonded with SBR and nitrile rubber. This blend offers superior flexibility, strength, and excellent resistance to oils and fuels, making it suitable for a broad range of industrial sealing needs. The granule size is 2-3 mm, providing a robust and long-lasting sheet.
We supply this cork sheeting in linear metre lengths and can provide custom cutting services to meet your specifications. For other cork grades with different rubber binders, please see the descriptions below or contact us for expert guidance.
Commonly used for gaskets, washers, anti-vibration parts, crocodile strips, pipe insulation, and roller coverings.
Note: The availability shown applies to SBR/nitrile bonded cork sheeting (CORNB) with a granule size of 2-3 mm. Other thicknesses may be available depending on the grade. Please contact us for more information.
