Stainless Steel Tanged Graphite

Stainless steel tanged graphite consists of expanded graphite foil reinforced with one or more layers of 0.10mm thick stainless steel tangs. This robust sealing material is commonly used for gaskets in steam systems, petrochemical and chemical industries, as well as flange gaskets for piping and machinery applications.

Operates within a temperature range of -200°C to +500°C (intermittent, dry) and -200°C to +650°C (intermittent, steam).
Pressure rating up to 140 bar.
Soft, flexible construction offering excellent recovery and long-term resistance to ageing.
Impermeable to gases and liquids, chemically inert, resistant to radiation, and highly tolerant to thermal shock.
Low friction coefficient with stable performance and exceptional residual stress retention over time.
