Spiral wound gaskets are widely used in demanding industrial sealing applications where reliable performance under high pressure and high temperature is essential. Constructed using a V-shaped metallic winding strip combined with soft filler materials such as graphite or PTFE, spiral wound gaskets provide exceptional sealing integrity, flexibility, and durability for critical flange connections. The gasket can be easily removed after service without damaging the flange faces.
Spiral wound gaskets are primarily designed for raised face (RF) flanges, with tailored configurations available for flat face (FF) applications in accordance with ASME, DIN, and JIS standards.
